This season was a great success.
We finished the season at 5-5 on the books, though the last game was stained by a goal scored by Esteban Vargas, which ultimately was not counted. With that goal counted the score would have been 2-2 ending our season in a 5-4-1.
Highlights of the game included a goal by Lorenzo Regalado, several big stops by Esteban Vargas (as well as the uncounted goal) and one major stop by our late backup goalie Fernando Carrillo. As always Alessandro Contreraz performed at a high level.
All in all this season was great and the boy's developed their soccer skills immensely. We look forward to the the seasons to come!!!

Saturday we suffered a devastating loss. We had a few players that did not show up, and struggled with players covering positions that they normally do not play. The final score was 3-1 and highlights in the game included 1 goal by Lorenzo Regalado.
We are fast approaching the end of the season. We have one more game scheduled for the season against the Parkway Patriots. We will be working hard this week to finish the season on a positive note.
November 7, 2011-
This weeks game against Parkway Angels was a tough one, though we finished on top. The final score was 2-1. Goal scorers were Lorenzo Regalado and Daniel Ruiz. Rafael Geronimo also scored a goal which ultimately was called back due to a questionable offside call.
This weeks MVP was again Jorge Chavez for his stellar performance in the defense. Fernando Carrillo had a great showing in the goal box as a stand for our vacationing goal keeper.
November 1, 2011-
NOTE: This weeks game that was scheduled for November 5, 2011 at 4:00 PM has been changed to 9:00 AM.

Happy Halloween... Hope everyone had lots of fun, but did not eat too much candy.
Practice tonight at our new location listed below.
Last weeks game was awesome.... We shut out GH Pirates 5-0. Our team has taken a 180 degree turn. Our hard work is paying off.
Highlights include 2 goals by Lorenzo Regalado, 1 goal by Rafael Geronimo, and 1 goal by Bryan Ortega. The very first goal of the game was an own goal. This weeks MVP was Jorge Chavez- his will to fight for the ball has proven to be a great asset to the team, he was the greatest contributor to this weeks clean sheet.

As predicted, Saturday's game against GH Gold had a much better outcome. In fact, we beat a team 5-1 that had previously beat us 4-1. Our hard work is paying off and our boys are gaining confidence. When asked "Is this enough?" All the boys replied, "No Coach!" They are developing a very competitive spirit and killer instinct it takes to finish on top.
Highlights of the game included 2 goals by Rafael Geronimo from free kicks, 1 goal from Lorenzo Regalado, 1 goal from Bryan Ortega. Once again our goal keeper saved the day with a series of fantastic saves, including one he stopped with his throat, but refused to let the ball escape his grasp.
Great job boy's, lets keep working hard and developing our skills for the games to come.
October 19, 2011-
2nd half of the season has now been scheduled and we held our position in the D division.
This weeks game will offer us a chance for payback, as we will be facing a previous opponent, in GH Gold. I am confident we will see a much better outcome.

Great game this week. We defeated the Land Park Crushers in a 3-2 battle. Highlights include goals from Alessandro Contreraz, Lorenzo Regalado, and Bryan Ortega. Esteban Vargas held the game to 3-2 when the Crushers took a shot which found him out of position. Esteban summoned his quick reflexes to save the sure goal with a diving slap, guiding the ball away from our goal.
October 3, 2011-
The rainy season is looming and I would like to address the question on everyone's mind.
YES we will practice in the rain!!
Other than during a hurricane, we will continue to practice Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
This is a good thing, because there are rarely rain outs in soccer. Our team will be ready to play in these conditions.
Fruitridge Real Madrid women's T-shirts are now available. Men's will come in shortly.
T-shirt prices starting at $15. Be the first to have your very own FRM T-shirt!
October 1, 2011-
Tough break Saturday, though we had our best performance of the season against what is boasted to be the best team in the division, the final score was 4-2. One of the goals scored by the opposing side was a gift from the referee who decided to call a penalty on a hand ball that was clearly outside of the box.
On a very positive note, our defense held IY Toluca to a mere 4 goals, which is the least goals they scored on every other team they have played this season. In all their other games Toluca has scored 8-9 goals.
Highlights of the game included a goal by Baltazar Silva and another by Lorenzo Regalado. Esteban Vargas had another great performance in the box, and once again our defense performed at a high level.
Kristhion Delgado, Alessandro Contreraz and Bryan Ortega exhibited the will to win into the last few minutes of the game.
September 25, 2011-
We had a great showing of our improved conditioning and passing this weekend. This weeks loss was a tough one, our boys fought hard into the last minutes of the game but we ended the game with a 2-1 loss. Highlights included a goal from Lorenzo Regalado and a some great defending by Fernando Carrillo, Jorge Chavez and Emmanuel Lopez-Lira. Our goal keeper Esteban Vargas performed very well as always. Alessandro Contreraz exhibited his great conditioning and enormous heart when he refused to give in until the final whistle.
Though we were disappointed with this last defeat, we did notice a great improvement in the team. Passing has now become second nature and a few shots exhibited our shooting power has greatly increased. We look forward to continuing to work hard and prepare for this weeks game.
September 23, 2011-
Tomorrow is a big game against East Sacramento Cheetahs. We have an identical win loss record but they are behind us by 1 point in goal differential. This should be a great game. We hope to exhibit our newly found conditioning and come out on top. Come cheer us on!!

Yesterdays loss to Greenhaven Gold was a devastating one, our only major highlight was a goal from Rafael Geronimo in the last 10 minutes of the game. On the positive side, our boys exhibited a new found interest in working harder in practice. We took this loss with our heads up and look forward to improving and getting bigger, faster and stronger. Mondays practice will be used to identify our strengths and weaknesses. We will make adjustment to our training program to grow from this experience. GO REAL MADRID!!!
September 16, 2011-

Congratulations are in order, this weeks game against Land Park Super Scores was a nail biter, though our boys came out victorious in a 3-0 win.
Highlights of the game included 2 goals by Lorenzo Regalado and 1 goal by Rafael Geronimo via a free kick from the top of the center circle in the last few minutes of the game. Esteban Vargas made a monster stop in one of the few attempts the opposing team had at our goal, thanks to the rock solid defenders.
